Omega Gun Locks

I am going to be writing a few posts here over the next couple weeks about some of the more interesting things I saw at the NRA annual meetings this past weekend.  The first one I want to mention is the Omega Safety Systems internal chamber lock. The small silver object in the picture is a caliber specific locking device that is inserted into the chamber of your pistol (or revolver, rifle, shotgun, etc) anf the black object is a locking tool that is inserted from the muzzle end and used to turn the stud on the end of the lock. This secures the device in the chamber and effectively locks the gun in battery. It would require about 1400lbs of force to dislodge it, and you would almost certainly damage the gun first. This device can also be used as a snap cap or dummy round if you do not like to dry fire with out one. I can explain it all day, but you are better off just going to the website and watching the videos. For more info as well as ordering the locks, go to: www.omegagunlock.com
